Ask Your Question — You’re Welcome Here

This is the place to ask honest questions about addiction, recovery, relapse, treatment, relationships, boundaries, or someone you care about.

You do not need to be an expert, and you do not need to know the “right” words. Members with lived experience may share what they have learned, what helped them, and what they wish their families had understood.

When posting:

  • Share only what you are comfortable sharing.
  • Protect your identity and the privacy of other people.
  • Give enough background to help others understand your question, but do not include names or identifying details.
  • Remember that replies are peer support, not medical, legal, or emergency advice.
  • Be patient and respectful; members answer when they are able.

There are no foolish questions here. If addiction has affected your life, directly or through someone you love, you belong in this conversation.

If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support.
